The Canon EOS 50D Digital Camera sports a 15.1 Megapixel CMOS Sensor which is supported by Canons DIGIC 4 Processor. Workign in harmony the provide an ISO range of upto 12800, superb noise reduction and ultra quick continuous shooting speed. The 50D comes with a new DIGIC 4 processor, with 14-bit image processing that allows the 50D to take up to 90 images in burst shooting mode at 6.3fps. The 50D’s DIGIC 4 processor also allows near instant startup times and quick image review after each photo is taken.
The 50D also has an ISO sensitivity of 100-3200 with an ultra high mode of up to 12800 to capture images in low light settings. With EOS integrated Cleaning system, dust on the sensor is a thing of the past as the 50D uses a fluorine coating on the low-pass filter to repel dust while sensor shift shakes dust off every time the camera is turned on or off.
